Unfortunately " Billy " was signed half way through the 1910/11 season in an unsuccessful attempt to boost City's attack. Although he scored 2 goals in 16 games it was hardly enough to stop Lincoln from being relegated at which time " Billy " decided to retire from the game to briefly take up coaching at Aston Villa. |
